As it is, IMO The Minmatar ASsault is VERY GOOD nevertheless.
#1 - Amarr Assault:
Sadly the Low Slot count wont give you ANY possibilities at all regarding FITTING VERSATILITY.
Still its Laser Bonus would let you create a very powerful offensive Assault with 1 or 2 Cx Damage mods and enough armor tanking for at least 700HP with a Scrambler Rifle.(Around 150-250 less HP than a logi
Enough CPU and PG to fit Complex and Enhanced mods for a very increase effectiveness.
Scout level stamina and Almost Logi level CPU and PG, Offensive bonus that CANNOT BE Replicated with modules by a Logi Make the Amarr Assault IMO the best Assault.
It needs an Additional LOW slot and CPU-PG upgrade to be at LOGI Level thou.
#2 - Minmatar Assault:
With a UNIQUE Slot configuration, Scout level speed and Sidearm bonus that cannot be replicated by a logi, the Minmatar Assault gains #2 Assault position.Sadly the Low CPU in the suit avoids powerful fitting options BUT the Sidearm bonus is perfect for people who like to run around with a Anti Vehicle light weapon all the time ,or Side arm Specialists.
It needs a LOT more of CPU and Better shield regen, maybe increase its ARMOR REPAIR rate to 2 to be at Logi Level.
#3 - Caldari ASsault:
This is the THIRD Best Assault. Why? Well Both Its bonuses really help TANKING (shield) and shield regen.
With 3 Cx Shield Extenders and a Shield Re-charger/Energizer the Cal Assault can reach Scout level Shield regen but with better Shield Totals.
Now the real problem AGAIN , is the very LOW CPU numbers that avoids the Cal Assault TRULY shining with a Solid Dual tanking as it should be. It might look overall BETTER than the MIN ASSAULT,but the fact the CALDARI LOGI out preforms this suit in EVERY SINGLE WAY POSSIBLE, kleaves it at #3. (A Cal Logi can equip a Enhanced or Complex CPU enhancer and STILL have 5 High Slots, 3 Low slots to tank. PLUs it only sacrifices a sidearm for +2 Equipment slots.
The Cal assault needs a serious CPU upgrade.
#4 Gallente Assault.
Im just Sorry for anyone using this. The Gallente logi outperforms the Gal Assault in EVERY IMAGIABLE way,and the few things the Gal assault has over the Gal logi,the g-*Logi can fix with their extra Low slot and 4 equipment slots...PLUS the GAl logi has 2 VERY useful Bonuses , while the Gal Assault has none.
Give the Gal Assault an innate 2 Armor repair per sec to their armors AND:
+1% Per level DAMAGE to Hybrid weapons.
To make it equally effective as a Gal Logi .
